From July 2019-August 2021, I worked as a Video Editor/Content Producer at Bloomberg News. Using Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder, I created video sequences, photo montages, multi-cam interviews, and other pieces for live news broadcasts, fixed mistakes with lower thirds using mogrt files, recorded speech translations and inserted where needed, cleaned up audio in Adobe Audition. I also selected clips to publish on Bloomberg.com and in the Bloomberg Terminal, prepared well-written summaries on clips, chose thumbnails, assigned SEO keywords, and then published. I worked closely with the IT department regularly to troubleshoot our global computer system infrastructure.
